Taking the step to start therapy is a courageous decision, and I truly admire your willingness to seek support. My goal is to provide a warm, compassionate environment where you feel safe and supported throughout your journey.
About Me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. After graduating from ASU with a Masters in Social Work in 2008, I entered the mental health field, gaining valuable experience and skills to address a wide range of mental health needs. Over the past 16 years, I have focused on helping children, families, and adults achieve their goals, whether that's managing symptoms of depression and anxiety, improving relationships, adjusting to family and life transitions, coping with difficult emotions, healing from trauma, and more.
Specializations
I use various therapeutic approaches, including CBT, DBT, play-based therapy, somatic-based skills, trauma-informed care, solution-focused therapy, and others. Additionally, I am a Certified Family Trauma Professional and a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Provider. I have advanced training in CBT and DBT.
Passion for Parenting Support
Becoming a parent in 2015 sparked my passion for helping other parents, whether that’s in the perinatal mental health phase or supporting them in building stronger, more confident relationships with their children. I've trained in the Nurtured Heart Approach and Conscious Discipline, both evidence-based, developmentally sound parenting methods.
My Philosophy
I believe in fostering a therapeutic environment built on empathy, trust, and collaboration, empowering clients to navigate their challenges and achieve meaningful growth. I am honored to be a part of that journey, and continue to be humbled by the strength and courage that I witness in my clients every day.
